Corrugator Superintendent

• Supervise employees on the manufacturing floor for an assigned shift.
• Coach and counsel team members to develop performance to standards.
• Control load factors and workflow to ensure maximum use of available capacity and effective use of labor, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain an effective, on-going safety plan.
• Coordinate maintenance work with customer and manufacturing needs.
• Serve as the first point of contact for all hourly employee concerns.
• Ensure that all company standards and customer commitments (i.e., R&A, safety, output, on-time delivery) are followed within the plant on a daily basis.
• Monitor all control procedures and alter schedules as needed to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Act as liaison with union/union employees and Production Superintendent.
• Build effective relationships with all internal departments to produce a superior product.
• Enforce plant safety regulations and housekeeping practices, encouraging employees to become safety conscious.
• Coordinate production operations and requirements for finished products, materials, and labor.
• Maintain effective departmental quality procedures.
• Supervise employees to accomplish safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency goals.
• Prepare and submit reports as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
