Job Description
Maintenance Technician is needed to perform PLC programming, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment, including Heidelberg, MAN Roland, KBA Rapida offset presses with UV inks and Aqueous coating and finishing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform PLC programming and troubleshooting on plant equipment
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery
- Conduct inspections and document results for building, grounds, fire systems, hazardous waste holding areas, and emergency lighting systems
- Perform minor plumbing and carpentry work
- Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Support process improvement initiatives
Skills
- Ability to use power tools
- Ability to use measuring equipment such as a fluke multi-meter, dial indicator, and caliper
- Ability to read and understand electrical prints and mechanical drawings
- Ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work within a fast paced manufacturing environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in print or packaging manufacturing
