Job Description
Maintenance Technician will undertake programming, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment, including preventative programming, as well as conduct regular maintenance on production and plant electrical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery
- Perform inspections and document results for systems and areas
- Will troubleshoot PLCs
- Troubleshoot systems and equipment
- Maintain a work order log
- Minimize downtime of critical equipment
- Order required parts as needed
- Maintain safety standards
Skills
- Provide preventative maintenance on a consistent schedule
- Reorder all parts as necessary
- Streamline costs based on efficiencies of machinery and parts utilized
- Troubleshooting and testing PLCs
- Strong reasoning/diagnostic abilities
- Basic math and computer knowledge
- Familiar with electrician safety standards and requirements
- Able to apply and understand national electric code
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have press experience
