Job Description
The Offset Pressman will produce high quality, value added printed material according to job specifications while setting up and operating presses and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Make-ready press, set plates, adjust pressures and tensions, load ink, set controls
- Troubleshoot press equipment issues
- Achieve and maintain color consistency as per customer and quality specifications
- Maintain equipment
- Inspect and examine completed product to verify quality
- Fills ink and dampening solution fountains and adjusts controls to regulate flow of ink and dampening solution to plate cylinder
- Makes adjustments to press throughout production run to maintain specific registration and color density
- Remove plates and clean all cylinders and bearers
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area

Qualifications
- HS diploma/GED required
- Experience working on, but not limited to, Komori, KBA or Heidelberg offset presses
