Job Description
Primary function to oversee indirect and direct services and materials, maintain and build vendor relations, terms, costs of raw materials, inventory levels and warehousing of a large print & package facility. Supervise a team of Warehouse/Logistics Managers, hourly warehouse employees and employees in the Purchasing Department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain purchasing project prioritization and management
- Maintain purchasing policy and planning
- Manage purchasing information and systems
- Manage suppliers, relationships and service level agreements
- Negotiate purchasing contracts
- Negotiation of payment and delivery terms Manage materials levels and accuracy
- Responsible for all SAP transactions associated with shipping, including but not limited to, posting goods issue and delivery notes
- Oversees outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, completeness and conditions of shipments
- Reviews, corrects, edits and reports on freight charges and invoices
- Responsible for the transportation of raw materials and semi-finished goods to and from the warehouse and production areas
- Adjust errors and complaints and maintain a carrier complaint log
Skills

- Problem analysis and problem resolution skills
- PC based computer experience, SAP preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- BS Degree and/or minimum 5-7 years related to Warehouse and Purchasing Manager experience.
- Open to any manufacturing experience but printing/packaging experience preferred.
- Must have ERP software knowledge and experience.
