Job Description
The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for identifying and sourcing new suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices, and managing relationships with existing suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory levels by performing monthly counts and providing reports to the CFO as needed
- Approve purchase requisitions by verifying items, recommending alternatives, and advising on delivery time frames
- Place orders with suppliers and verify timely delivery by monitoring and expediting orders
- Authorize payments for purchases by verifying receipts and forwarding documentation
- Collect, analyze, and summarize data and trends to provide purchasing planning and control information, including notifications of price increases
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and vendor invoices, review for accuracy, approve, and post to the company system
- Manage consignment inventory items for intake, usage, and billing from vendors
- Coordinate with the shipping department for transportation of goods as needed
- Monitor contracts and rebate renewals and negotiate with suppliers on pricing for materials and services
- Prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications, prices, and obtaining recommendations and approvals from the requisitioning department

- PC based computer experience, EPace software preferred but not required
Qualifications
- BS Degree and/or minimum 5-7 years related to Warehouse and Purchasing Manager experience
- Must have experience purchasing paper. Commercial print experience is highly preferred
- Must have EPace software knowledge and experience
