Job Description
Sheeter Operator will set up, operate, continuously monitor, maintain, and perform minor repairs on either Marquip, Goodstrong, Clark Aiken, Jagenberg, or Maxson Sheeters
Responsibilities
- Using the job jacket order form or other written and oral instructions, set up, operate, continuously monitor, and adjust as necessary the machines
- Perform routine/preventive maintenance on all equipment except where Maintenance Department work is required
- Operate and maintain schedule without supervision
- Troubleshoot all defects by looking at paperboard
- Perform pre-make-ready activities before current job is completed
- Advise supervisor in a timely manner when to order supplies
- Recommend changes and modifications to the supervisor which may improve the unit’s operation, and to reduce costs
- Work as a team with other department members to meet quality standards and production schedules
- Comply with all departmental rules and regulation
- Perform other duties as required to achieve the overall goals and objectives of the section, department, and the Company

- Ability to read job orders and specifications
- Communicate orally and in writing
- Perform mechanical operations
- Set up sheeting equipment
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sheeter experience in printing and/or packaging industry
- High School diploma/GED
- Open to any converting experience
