Job Description
The Stamping Pressman is responsible for all activities with running various foil stamping machines. Must be able to make ready, adjust, and operate foil stamping equipment such as Bobst and Geitz.
Responsibilities
- Make ready and run standards.
- Set up and operate equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of cold and hot foil stamping properties and processes.
- Reads orders & locates proper stock.
- Pull loads from delivery and stages in proper area.
- Maintains area and equipment clean and organized.
- Follows all safety rules, work instructions, policies, and procedures.
Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high level of initiative and flexibility.
- Capable of understanding technical customer requirements.
- Ability to work in high-stress environment to meet customer delivery dates.
- Constantly produce high quality work and maintain established production standards.
Qualifications
- 3 years of foil stamping experience is required.
- Knowledge of specific foil stamping presses, including operations, capabilities, light maintenance, troubleshooting and safety requirements.
